I have recently found this awesome new hobby called Bullet Journaling. I have always been an organizer, list maker, and general scheduling freak. So when I stumbled across a Facebook post about bullet journals I had to do some research. 8 hours of YouTube videos and Pinterest searches later I was totally hooked. I love to draw, I’m super organized, and lists are kinda my thing so this was a match made in heaven.
So what is bullet journaling? You can check out the official page here!
Now when I visited the official page, it mostly talks about the system. Which is a great way to make lists, schedule, etc. I really like the system. However, it was after YouTube videos and Pinterest searches (just enter bullet journal in the search field) that I saw all the elaborate and beautiful designs that hooked me. As you can see in the above picture I am not the most talented artist in the world, but I do love to doodle, color, draw, and this gives me an extra outlet to that on a daily basis.
I am having a blast learning more about it and have officially started my own journal. I couldn’t afford an expensive journal so I actually found a free printable of the dot grid and I printed a bunch out and put them in a 3 ring binder my kids had laying around. Worked great for me to get started. You can find that printable here!
So on this page I will share resources that find. I will post some updates to my layouts (if I feel they are good enough to share). I am also participating in some challenges for handwriting and doodles so I will share my progress on those as well.
