Update: Here are my weekly layouts using this same theme and many of the same products listed below.
So for my September 2016 layout I decided I really wanted to go with something back to school. We are in full swing of getting back into the school routine in our home. Plus I thought apples with a green/red color theme would be a fun cute idea.
When I bullet journal I try to focus on something that is usable, simple, and features the things I need. I try to sit down and pre-plan. Asking myself what things are important for me to be able to see at a glance. The more detailed things I can put in my weekly layouts but what are things I need to be able to see quickly. I really like this layout it has my calendar at a glace, important dates to remember, goals, habits, water tracker, bills, monthly chores, my writing and doodle challenges, notes, and a blog tracker. Everything I need all in one.
I had a lot of fun playing with some new products to decorate. Of course I always like to leave some space for additional doodles and coloring throughout the month.
Washi Tape: I love these apples. I wasn’t a big fan of the phrase so on the bottom of my page I folded it over so it didn’t show and on the top I am going to add some plain green that I have in a very thin strip to cover it. But I LOVE the apples. The other roll in this set is birds that are also super cute. Found it on Amazon. Only $5.59 The company is called Daiso.
Stickers: I forgot to even show them in the video (darn it) but I found some adorable back to school themed stickers from a company called Confetti Paperie. It’s really neat and can be used on your calendar throughout the school year featuring holidays, important school dates and they had some cute blackboards that I used on my layout here. Also had an extra sheet they threw in as a thank you for my order that had a cute little pencil I used as well. You can find them on Amazon. This set was only $5 plus shipping (not prime).
Stamps: I used two different stamp sets that I got from a great company called Decora. The first set included nine different stamp sets, all different themes. I used the stamps that said remember and the alarm clock but there is a huge variety in this one set. It also includes a small stamp block to use with the stamps. The second set includes three different stamp sets (butterflies, flowers, and fairies), I used some of the flowers to decorate the page with. The set also included three different sizes of stamp blocks to use with the stamps and ten different ink pads (some were the four color pads and others were one solid color). You get everything you need in this one stamp set, great for just starting out. These sets can be found on Amazon. Stamp Set 1 here (only $9.28) and stamp set 2 here (only $14.99 for everything).
Stickers: I picked up this fun sheet of stickers from Wal-mart in the craft department. The company is Sticko Stickers and they are the Time for School Theme. Super cute images and they are puffy so they are raised. I really think they add a lot to the page. And they were on $1.60 for the entire sheet!
I received some of these products for free or at a discount for my honest review. However my opinions are my own.
