Art Workshop by Barbara Rucci In Time for the Holidays

We love books in our home, getting a new book is very exciting for my seven year old, she gets so excited.  So of course new books are at the top of our holiday lists every year.  I just found this great new totle by Barbara Rucci “Art Workshop” that has tons of fun arts and crafts activities.

Art Workshop for Children is not just another book of straightforward art projects. The book’s unique child-led approach provides a framework for cultivating creative thinking and encourages the wonder that comes when children are allowed to freely explore the creative process and their materials. As children work through these open-ended workshops, adults are guided on how to be guides who provide questions, encourage deep thinking, and help spark an excitement for discovery. Explore basic materials and workshops that use minimal supplies, and then gradually add new materials to fill the art cabinets as well as new skills and more complex workshops.  It’s a great interactive book.

“Art Workshop” will make a great holiday gift this holiday season.  If you kiddo loves art and creative play this book is full of inspiration and step by step guides of fun interactive projects.  It’s a great way to spark the imagination of your kiddos.
