As you all know I love box subscriptions. Something about getting a new box in the mail every month full of fun surprises that is super fun. I recently found a new box called Eattiamo. I am in love with this box. My heritage is a mix of a few things but we have a lot of ancestors from Italy. I remember my grandmother teach me some Italian recipes and always enjoyed learning them. So when I found Eattiamo I was really excited. The way it works is you log in and subscribe, they will send you 7 gourmet products to easily create an Italian 3 course dinner. Serving up to 4 people. You get everything you need to make an app, main course, and dessert. All the foods are high quality authentic gourmet products from Italian producers. Check out our little unboxing video to see what we got in our first box:
*Note after we made our meal I realized I made a couple of mistakes in my video. First of all they do not include wine, we got an Italian soda. Also the meal feeds up to 4 people (actually after cooking it I think our entire family of 5 could eat this meal with leftovers, it makes a lot of food).
We decided to make this a fun date night with me and my husband. The kids were gone to my in-laws for the night so we used our box and made a romantic Italian dinner. It was so yummy. I was actually shocked at how good the food was. I have had pasta before but I’ve never had pasta this good. The bread, I honestly didn’t think it would travel well, it was amazing (so good). I was impressed with and loved it all except the soda. It was not so good at all, but my husband liked it. It was so much fun to try new foods, cook together and eat a unique and delicious meal.
Eattiamo makes a great gift idea for a loved one who like to try new foods and for cooks. I think it’s a great gift for a spouse or significant other. Me and my husband had a great time with our meal and I think getting one of these in to repeat it every month would be fantastic. Regardless of who you purchase for it’s a great choice.
You can find out more on the Eattiamo Website.
