Bumble Brain Box Makes a Great Gift for Baby

Bumble Brain Box is a great box subscription service that focuses on the development of your babies brain.  The box contains new items and activities every single month.  In every box you will receive a booklet with great articles and information explaining the science behind each activity, 5 activity cards each one focusing on a different area to help target social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and auditory development, 5-10 learning accessories, and an assessment to see how your child is performing.  They also offer unlimited email support.  Check out our unboxing video to see what we got in our first box.

As a grandmother to one toddler and one on the way finding companies that promote brain health in infants and toddlers is a huge priority.  Scientists have told us that most brain development occurs within the first five years of life so fostering a healthy environment for that development is so important.

Bumble Brain Box makes a great holiday gift idea for young children this holiday season. The outside of the pillow is comprised of a soft Tencel blended fabric with strips of mesh built in the sides of the pillow for better breathability and comfort as you sleep. myCharge Has Great Holiday Gift Items

hubplus2

My seven year old is really into the new Pokemon Go craze.  She is always out walking around with her dad chasing Pokemon.  One thing I have noticed since she has to use my phone since she is to young for her own is that the game really drains the battery on my phone. A power bank is a great solution for this problem and I found some really great options at myChargeMyCharge has great portable chargers that make great gifts for your techie friends and family this holiday season.

hubplus3

We got the HubPlus charger and it really suits our needs.  I love that it is small and compact.  You can easily travel with it, throw it in your bag or purse.  It’s even small enough to fit in your pocket.  It’s not very heavy so it works out great.

I love that everything is built into the charger.  You have a power outlet that just flips down so you can plug it in to charge, when done flip it up and out of the way.  There are two different built in cables you can use to charge devices.  They include a new iPhone and a micros USB so you can use it with a variety of devices.  There is also a USB port so you can plug in a USB cable if needed.

If you are looking for power banks or other gifts for tech loving friends and family myCharge has tons of options, something for everyone on your list.

You can learn more on the myCharge Website.

Gift Some Artistic Fun for the Holidays with Watercolor Crush-Giveaway

watercolors1

As I have mentioned we are big fans of art and DIY and I have passed that down to my children.  I love spending time with them doing art projects, it’s a great way to have some individual time with them while fostering creativity at the same time.  I recently found a great company called Klutz that makes these great arts and crafts sets.  They have a large variety of different books that cover a variety of different art topics.  I just recently got this great Watercolor Crush for my seven year old.

watercolors3

They include some pages that have great tips on how to use watercolors and different brush techniques.  I love the educational aspect of these products so they can learn new skills while having fun.

They include a great set of watercolor paints, paint brush and several pages on watercolor pages that they can paint in the book.  They are very pretty images that are a lot of fun to paint.  They are printed on a thick watercolor page that can be torn out and displayed when completed.  It’s a great way to introduce watercolors to beginners or a fun book to enjoy for those that already have watercolors down.

Klutz has a huge variety of art kits that make great gifts.  If you have an arts and crafts lover on your shopping list they make great gift ideas.

Klutz was nice enough to give us an extra copy of Watercolor Crush to giveaway to one of our readers.  Must be 18 or older and a US resident to enter.  We will be accepting entries from 12/22/16 until 1/15/17.  To enter please click on the enter here button.
